Touch of the Grave also changes, with no numbers given; current gameplay remains unverified.
Blizzard's October 15 notes change Eureka to last eight seconds instead of counting charges. Its damage and ability-cost effects stay the same, and it now applies to Power Word: Shield. Its stealth/invisibility bullet is awkwardly worded in the source, so this page does not infer intended or working behavior from it.
The notes list Touch of the Grave under Undead and say its proc chance and cooldown were adjusted for more consistent benefit, without giving numbers.Source: Blizzard's October 15 beta notes, post 6, last edited October 16 UTC; checked October 18, 2026. Beta gameplay has not been tested.
Touch of the Dead appears in separate bullets: 30% activation chance for casters, 20% for Paladins, Rogues and Warriors, and a 25-second internal cooldown. Those bullets also remove scaling from Shadow increases on the target or caster and the decreased multiplier for lower-ranked spells.
These are the source's distinct names; Touch of the Dead's values are not values for Touch of the Grave.Source: Blizzard's October 15 beta notes, post 6, last edited October 16 UTC; checked October 18, 2026. Beta gameplay has not been tested.
For Tauren, the notes reduce Cultivation's cooldown to 15 minutes from 60 and War Stomp's to 90 seconds from two minutes. Endurance changes from 1% hit chance to 2% increased critical damage and healing. These changes are confirmed in the beta notes; current gameplay remains unverified.
The September 24 comparisons describe that older evidence state.Source: Blizzard's October 15 beta notes, post 6, last edited October 16 UTC; checked October 18, 2026. Beta gameplay has not been tested.

September 24 Racial Changes at a Glance
The following table records the September 24 notes. The October 15 follow-up supplies the later changes; neither dated account establishes launch or current live behavior.
| Racial and guide | September 22 description | September 24 beta update | Estado |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gnome: Eureka! | Lower cost plus 10% more damage or healing on the next three spells or abilities. | A 10% discount on Mana, Rage, or Energy abilities for every class. The note does not say whether the earlier next-three effect or damage and healing bonus remains. | Confirmed for the beta; remaining Eureka details unknown |
| Human: Will to Survive | Removes stuns. | The visual now matches Dispel Magic instead of Will of the Forsaken. The note does not announce a functional change. | Confirmado para la beta |
| Tauren: Cultivation | Grows bonus herbs that do not require Herbalism to gather. | Each Herb has a player-level requirement equal to the level required to pick it divided by 5. Herbs requiring more than 300 Herbalism skill can be Cultivated at player level 60. | Confirmado para la beta |
| Undead: Touch of the Grave | Sometimes drains health with attacks. | No longer breaks crowd control or activates from spells and abilities without a damage component. See the September 24 developer examples. | Confirmed for the beta; listed under Tauren |
| Launch behavior | Not stated in the September 24 notes. | Whether any of these beta changes will remain at launch is not announced. | No anunciado |
Eureka's Unspecified Effects as of September 24
As of the September 24 account, the notes specified Eureka's 10% resource discount but left the rest unclear. The October 15 follow-up later specifies an eight-second effect without charges. Blizzard's September 22 list said Eureka cut costs and added damage or healing to your next three spells or abilities.
The September 24 beta note gives a 10% discount on Mana, Rage, or Energy abilities for every class. It does not say whether the earlier three-use effect or its damage and healing bonus still applies.
The September 22 and September 24 posts left other Eureka details unspecified. On October 1, Blizzard said Eureka no longer benefited periodic effects, while channeled spells were not counted as periodic. The same notes listed a known issue that Eureka did not affect every damaging or healing spell for some classes, with a fix in a later build.
Those notes do not verify current gameplay; the October 15 follow-up specifies duration and charges, which the cited September and October 1 notes did not.Source: Blizzard's October 1 beta notes, post 4, last edited October 2 UTC; checked October 18, 2026. Earlier versions are unavailable.
Those four figures cover all five Gnome classes. Against them, a flat 10% is a cut for every class, and the largest for Mage and Warlock. The same report says the 10% damage bonus "remains in the datamined versions," in its September 25 report. That historical datamining report remains Reported; the October 15 announcement is the later first-party account.

Touch of the Grave Under Tauren in September 24 Notes
The September 24 notes said Distract, Pickpocket and Polymorph would not trigger Touch of the Grave and filed it under Tauren. The October 15 notes instead list Touch of the Grave under Undead.
Cifras reportadas de Touch of the Grave
Reported figures from before the September 24 build put Touch of the Grave's drain at up to 5% of the target's maximum health. Blizzard's text gives no chance or health amount, in the September 22 article or the September 24 notes.
This is Reported evidence from before the September 24 build. The September 24 notes changed triggers without giving values. The October 15 notes later announce proc-chance and cooldown adjustments without numeric values for Touch of the Grave; the separate Touch of the Dead values do not resolve that gap.
Tiempo de reutilización y alcance reportados de Cultivo
Blizzard's October 15 beta update, post 6 reports Cultivation's cooldown reduced to 15 minutes from 60. This is a reported beta-note change, not direct evidence of current in-game behavior. The note does not give a range or cast time.
Warcraft Tavern's Tauren racial guide reports that the Tauren must stand close to the Herbalism node being Cultivated, citing an in-game message reading "Too far to cultivate this Silverleaf."
The same guide says "each herb can only be cultivated once," and that the cast takes 3 seconds although the tooltip lists it as instant. Blizzard's cited beta notes do not confirm these remaining details, so they stay Reported. The guide shows no visible publish or update date.
The reported 15-minute cooldown and the guide's once-per-herb claim do not establish whether Cultivation can become a farming loop. Under the September 24 notes, the level rule decides which herbs a Tauren can grow at all. The Tauren race guide keeps the confirmed text apart from these reports.
El resumen del Deep Dive de Blizzard dice que cada raza tiene ahora "two active abilities and two passive abilities, tuned to provide a similar amount of offensive power while preserving signature utility."Blizzard: World of Warcraft: Forever Deep Dive Panel Recap, consultado el 28 sept 2026.
Touch of the Grave llega a mago, paladín, sacerdote, pícaro, brujo y guerrero no-muertos.
The cited notes describe beta changes, with these limits:
- Eureka's October 1 known-issue fix status.
- Touch of the Grave: probabilidad de activación y cantidad de salud.
