Kaivax's September 24 beta development notes list the changes under Change Log > Races. Blizzard's September 22 racial list gives the earlier descriptions. For every race's full class and racial list, see the WoW Forever races guide.

Eureka's full effect remains unclear
Blizzard's September 22 list described Eureka as reducing cost and increasing damage or healing for the next three spells or abilities. The September 24 beta note specifies a 10% discount on Mana, Rage, or Energy abilities across every class. It does not say whether the earlier three-use effect or its damage and healing bonus still applies.
Treat the resource discount as confirmed for the beta build. The rest of Eureka's behavior remains unspecified in these two Blizzard posts.
Touch of the Grave is filed under Tauren
Source label conflict: Blizzard's September 24 beta notes place Touch of the Grave beneath Tauren. The September 22 racial list places the ability beneath Undead. The beta note does not explain the heading.
The developer note says Shadow Word: Pain triggers Touch of the Grave on cast, but not from its periodic damage. Distract, Pickpocket, and Polymorph will not trigger it. Blizzard also says Polymorph was already not broken by Touch of the Grave. The September 22 racial list gives no proc chance or health amount, and the beta note adds neither.
Separate race-specific Priest spell changes
The same beta post lists four race-specific Priest spell changes under its Classes section. Gnome Priest's Contingency Plan can now critically hit, and Confounding Flash gains a more Holy-oriented cast visual with updated sounds. Night Elf Priest's Starshards gains spell pushback resistance from Twilight Focus.
Undead Priest's Dark Sacrifice no longer breaks crowd control that breaks on damage, and its tooltip now says the Mana gained scales with Spirit. These spell updates are separate from the four changes in the Races section; the full September 24 beta notes recap covers the rest of that build.
What the beta notes leave open
- Whether Eureka retains the earlier next-three trigger and damage or healing bonus.
- Touch of the Grave's proc chance and health amount.
- Whether any September 24 beta behavior will remain in the launch version.
The September 24 post describes a beta build. It does not give a launch commitment for these racial changes.
Frequently asked questions
Which WoW Forever racials changed in the September 24 beta?
Blizzard's Races section names Gnome Eureka, Human Will to Survive, Tauren Cultivation, and Touch of the Grave. The last entry appears beneath Tauren even though Blizzard's earlier racial list places it under Undead.
Does Eureka still increase damage and healing?
The September 22 list described a damage or healing bonus for the next three spells or abilities. The September 24 beta notes specify the 10% resource discount but do not say whether that earlier effect remains.
Did Will to Survive stop removing stuns?
Blizzard's September 24 note changes the visual to match Dispel Magic. It does not announce a change to the stun-removal effect listed on September 22.
Are these the final launch racials?
Launch behavior is unannounced. These changes are confirmed for the September 24 beta build, and the notes do not say whether they will remain at launch.
