How Live Status Works
The channel list comes from creators in our retained Forever coverage research. A creator may stream other games. Live means the channel is broadcasting; Forever mentioned in stream title only means the current title names Forever. It does not verify every moment of gameplay.
Status, viewer counts, and stream titles come from DecAPI. The page checks once a minute while visible. DecAPI caches live status and viewer counts for up to five minutes and titles for three minutes, so changes can take several minutes to appear.DecAPI: Cached Endpoints. Failed checks show Status unavailable, never Offline. Missing viewer counts show Viewers unavailable, not zero.
Live thumbnails show a recent Twitch preview frame. Offline channels use their channel portraits when available. A preview does not verify current gameplay.Twitch: Get Streams. DecAPI: Avatar.
Watching a Broadcast
Choose Watch here, then press play in the Twitch player. Broadcasts do not autoplay. Open Twitch with the white, underlined See on Twitch link if the player cannot load. Screens narrower than Twitch's required 400-pixel player width use the channel link instead.Twitch: Embedding Video and Clips.
The site's language does not change a broadcaster's spoken language. Twitch controls its own player, ads, availability, and playback. On a screen that can fit its player, Twitch loads the live channel with the highest available viewer count when the first status check succeeds. If every live count is unavailable, the first live channel loads instead. You can choose a channel at any time; refreshes never switch an already selected broadcast.
The selected channel's Twitch Chat appears beside the player on desktop and below it on smaller screens that fit the embeds. Switching channels changes both embeds. Open chat on Twitch using the fallback link if embedded chat is unavailable.Twitch: Embedding Chat.
On desktop, browse the channel carousel beneath the video with its arrows or scrollbar. Each card shows a large thumbnail with the channel's details over it. Expand the stream title to read it in full. The yellow Watch here button changes the player; See on Twitch opens the channel on Twitch.
