What Zygor's Current Forever Page Says

If Forever is your only reason to subscribe, wait until you've verified the exact Client download. If you also play supported Retail or Classic versions, Elite may be worth paying for now. Is Zygor worth it for Forever? covers those choices, plus Basic and recurring billing.

Zygor's Forever page says the guides are in development in the beta, with a Client release planned before game launch. It warns of possible partial 1 to 60 coverage at launch, followed by updates. We have not inspected a member download. Being in development, being downloadable and being a complete route are three different things.

How the Guide Viewer Works

On the versions Zygor already supports, its homepage describes a Guide Viewer addon that puts step-by-step instructions on your screen, a 3D waypoint arrow that points the way, and dynamic detection that follows your quests and progress. Those descriptions are Zygor's own.

What Zygor Elite Covers Beyond Leveling

Zygor's Elite plans list six guide categories on both tiers, and leveling is only one of them: Leveling & Loremaster, Dungeons & Gear, Dailies & Reputation, Gold & Professions, Pets & Mounts, and Titles & Achievements. The page describes Elite as "Access To Every Guide We Make Or Ever Will Make," with monthly updates for events and patches.

It also says that when a new expansion comes out, members "receive all our updated content on day one (and all future updates going forward)." That matches the Forever announcement, which describes Elite access at no extra charge.

Where Forever Sits in the Current Catalog

Neither plan's version list names WoW: Forever. The Retail row covers "All past expansions" and Midnight; the Classic row covers Vanilla, MoP, TBC Anniversary, Hardcore and Season of Discovery. The homepage now lists WoW: Forever under "ALL VERSIONS covered" as "coming this NOVEMBER," and its menu lists Forever Guides as coming soon; these planned notices do not verify a member download.Source: Zygor Guides homepage and Zygor Elite plans, checked Oct 17, 2026.

Elite also includes Gold Guide trend data, which the page ties to the Retail version of that guide. Members get Elite-only forum sections and Discord channels, giveaway entries and a vote on user feedback submissions. None of it is Forever-specific.

What Beta Timing Means for the Guide Plan

Zygor's current page warns that beta restrictions limit what can be ready at launch. Blizzard announced a rise in the beta level cap to 30 in the October 1 update.Confirmed, a first-party sourceSource: Blizzard forums: Beta Update Maintenance - October 1, checked Oct 1, 2026.

The Forever page describes its new-zone leveling routes as updated. It plans a Skyborne 1 to 12 starter guide, dungeon guides and changes to professions, travel and talent recommendations, and is investigating Legacy Points and Campfires. That progress claim is not a list of the downloads that are available. The September 15 announcement said there were no plans for beta-ready guides. In October 6 replies, post author Alu still emphasized finishing the main guides rather than offering a beta guide. Development during beta does not verify a public beta download.

New Quests Make the Job Bigger

Zygor hasn't said whether its Forever guides will cover Loremaster-style completion. A commenter asked for exactly that, and the post shows no staff reply. Elite already lists "Leveling & Loremaster" as a category. Forever adds new quests on top of the old ones: Blizzard says Riverglades alone will cover "much of the mid-30s to mid-40s" with "more than 150 new quests."Planned, first-party, in the future tenseSource: World of Warcraft: Forever What's Next Panel Recap, checked Sep 28, 2026.

Hardcore Is a Separate Question

Don't assume a Forever Hardcore guide at launch: Zygor's Forever post does not mention Hardcore. Zygor's Classic plan lists Hardcore. Blizzard says Forever's Hardcore ruleset "won't be available at launch."Blizzard: Get to Know the World of Warcraft: Forever Legacy System, checked Sep 28, 2026.

What Commenters Have Asked Zygor For

A staff reply is Zygor's own statement; visitor comments aren't evidence. The announcement drew requests in its comments, and the post author, "Alu," answered several.

Zone Coverage and Completionists

One commenter asked what launch would include and requested full zone-by-zone and profession or farming guides. On September 18, Alu answered: "We are working on this and hope to have more info soon."

A request for a 100 percent zone-clearing option drew: "We have been getting many requests for this and I'll pass it along to the content team." Neither reply commits to a feature.

Dungeon Quests and Beta Guides

Another commenter asked for an option to pick up dungeon quests while leveling, and Alu answered: "I think this would be awesome!" That request fits Blizzard's own design direction: Blizzard developers told The Sun in an interview published September 13 that dungeon quest XP is much higher in Forever and dungeon monster-kill XP much lower.Reported, press or datamine, not confirmedSource: The Sun: World of Warcraft Forever developer interview, public parser response retained Oct 18, 2026 UTC; not a current beta XP test.

On September 29, Alu answered a launch-date question: "For official launch yes!" On October 6, Alu said "Zygor has never really done beta guides" and described focusing on a finished product instead of a beta guide that was not fully working. Zygor's Ban-Safety Claim, and Blizzard's Own Add-on Policy

Safety from bans is Zygor's claim about its own product, and our September 28 forum search found no Blizzard statement about Zygor in Forever. Zygor's homepage headlines "100% Safe To Use. Will Not Get You Banned." It says Zygor has provided guides "since 2007 and no one has EVER been banned for using our guides." The homepage points to an old Blizzard forum post as backing.

Blizzard's UI Add-On Development Policy says "All add-ons must be distributed free of charge" and bars charging "for services related to the add-on." Zygor's Guide Viewer is a free download, and the subscription pays for the guides it displays. The policy predates Forever and does not name Zygor, so it doesn't settle whether that setup complies.

What Players and Blizzard Have Said Since

Our September 28 forum search found no Blizzard post about guide addons in Forever. A September 20 player thread on Blizzard's forums asks Blizzard to ban "leveling addons like Zygor and RestedXP from WoW Forever."Source: Ban Leveling Addons (player thread), checked Sep 28, 2026. Billing Terms Before You Subscribe

Canceling Versus Refunds

Zygor says you can cancel anytime, but its terms rule out refunds. Zygor's homepage says "Small monthly fee. Cancel Anytime," and that you can "Easily start and cancel (with no hassle)." Its terms and conditions say "We do not offer returns or refunds, all sales are final."

Together, they cover stopping future billing, not refunding time you've already paid for. If you subscribe early for Forever, budget for months of waiting rather than counting on a refund if the guides slip.

Prices and Offers

Zygor doesn't promise the $15 monthly or $40 quarterly rate will last. The terms say the price charged is "the price in effect at the time the order is placed," and that "Price increases will only apply to orders placed after such changes." Its terms only promise not to raise the price of an order already placed.

The quarterly plan works out to $13.33 a month, $5 less than three monthly payments. For scale, RestedXP lists its Forever guide at $30 for one faction; both factions cost $45, with no subscription term listed. Installing the Client, in Brief

Zygor's support documentation describes a desktop Zygor Client for PC and Mac that logs in with your account. It detects your AddOns folder and installs guide components while the game is closed. Its enabling instructions call the screen where you enable addons the game's "login page" and tell you to open its AddOns button and enable the Viewer; that is the manual's wording, not a verified Forever screen location.

You need a Zygor Basic or Elite account to log in. A manual installation package also exists, which Zygor calls "neither automatic nor error proof." The manual says you have to repeat that route every time the guides update or your license renews.

Which Viewer Forever Will Use

Zygor hasn't named a viewer for Forever, and its manual lists two. The manual tells you to look for "Zygor Guide Viewer 8 (WoW) or Zygor Guides Classic Viewer" in the list. Zygor's own announcement describes Forever as keeping "many of the core mechanics of Classic WoW" while adding new quests and zones.

The September 28 instructions retained for Downloading, Installing and Enabling do not mention Forever. That body text does not establish a verified Forever setup. Where Zygor Fits Among Forever Guide Options

Zygor is one subscription, renewed monthly or quarterly, that covers every category it lists. RestedXP sells named Forever products by faction, separate from its free addon. The side-by-side comparison lines up price, setup and Forever status.

Guide Viewer Features Beyond the Basics

Zygor's homepage lists Quest Icons and Auto-select dialogues under "New Features"; the October 17 capture also includes a "Continuously Updated" claim. Quest Icons place raid markers over NPCs tied to a quest step: a star to talk, a square to click, a skull to kill.

Auto-select dialogues picks the correct NPC dialogue choice for you and is "Available for select content." The homepage doesn't say whether either feature will work with Forever guides.

Trying Zygor Before a Forever Download Is Verified

Try the Viewer on a supported version to judge the interface before you pay. A free Basic account gets a guide sample, while Elite unlocks the paid library for its billing period. The membership page doesn't confirm a Forever Basic sample.

On October 3, Zygor's /trial address redirected to Basic registration. The rendered screen labeled the account Basic and free, and said it does not rebill. We did not register. It gave no verified duration or eligibility for a full-Elite trial, and the URL parameter doesn't supply those terms.
