This policy describes how WoW Forever Guides turns changing information about World of Warcraft: Forever into pages a player can rely on. It applies to every news article and guide on the site.
Sources come first
Official Blizzard announcements, product pages, developer interviews, and first-party streams are the primary sources. Press coverage, datamined material, and community transcriptions are used as context and are labeled as such. Rumors and forum speculation may point us toward a question, but they are not presented as settled fact.
Every article carries a Sources list. Every guide quick-fact row links to the source used for that row. Editorial records keep the source title, publisher, publication and retrieval times, the claim locator, and the claim status.
Every fact keeps its status
Readers see four labels:

| Planned | Blizzard announced a future date, roadmap card, or information event. |
| Reported | Press, datamine, or community material supports the statement. It is context, not confirmation. |
| Unverified | The checked material does not establish the claim. It stays visible when the question matters. |
When two first-party sources disagree, both statements stay on the page. The beta reference keeps its date conflict visible rather than picking one version.
Pages answer a real question
A guide should help someone act: choose a class, understand a system, plan a purchase, or know what is still unknown. We do not publish pages that only rephrase a marketing description or repeat what any search result already says. A page with no supported facts to add waits until it has them.
Updates and dates
Every page shows when it was published and when it was last materially revised. When Blizzard changes a rule, date, or system, we update the affected page rather than leaving stale advice in place. The date on a guide is the date its sources were last checked, not a promise about the game.
Corrections
Send the page URL, the problem, and supporting evidence to [email protected]. Confirmed errors are fixed promptly, and the change is noted on the page when it materially affects the guidance. The correction and source-tip routes set out what the address is used for.
Community data and credit
When a community project supplies structured data, we summarize it, link back to the originating page, and keep its provisional status visible. We do not rehost another project's screenshots, icons, or full interactive datasets without permission. The talent calculator on each class page states its baseline data and credits the project that inspired it.
What this policy does not cover
This policy does not promise a publishing schedule, a response time, or coverage of every topic. It does not make the site a substitute for Blizzard support.
