What the current tree contains

  • The Hunter talent calculator reads client build 1.60.1.70009 and compares its Beast Mastery entries with Classic Era 1.15.9.69722. It reports 16 talents: two new, ten changed, and four matching that baseline.
  • The tree and full-rank tooltips above come from that client read. These labels describe the source data, not a final Blizzard balance statement.

Two talents are new in the current client read

  • Focused Fire: Focused Fire has two ranks. The current client text increases your and your pet's damage by 1% per point while your pet is active, for 2% at full rank. Cajato's earlier capture at 1:14 marks its 2/2 read as an estimate, so the refreshed client data supplies the values shown here.
  • Summon Hawk: Summon Hawk is a one-rank ability. Its current tooltip lists 80 Mana, 35-yard range, instant cast and a six-second cooldown. It sends a hawk after the selected enemy for an 18-second assault, with damage based on 32 plus 5% of Ranged Attack Power; at most two hawks can be active, and the ability shares Arcane Shot's cooldown.
  • The 3:16 capture shows the shared cooldown and duration; the current client read is the source for the complete tooltip.

How Beast Mastery compares with Classic Era

  • The calculator marks Pathfinding, Improved Revive Pet, Frenzy and Bestial Wrath unchanged against that Classic Era table.
  • “Unchanged” means the listed name, rank count and talent text match the client baseline after case and whitespace are ignored. It does not mean Blizzard has confirmed those talents are unchanged.
  • The other ten talents are marked changed by the same client comparison. The page shows each Forever tooltip beside Classic's text so you can check the differences by talent.
  • The 4:24 creator capture compares Bestial Wrath's listed 50% pet damage increase for 18 seconds with Classic and labels the effect unchanged.
  • At 4:28, Cajato's full-tree image labels Improved Eyes of the Beast and Thick Hide “No longer a talent.” This is a creator's report from the September 14 capture, not an official change note.

What the sources confirm, report, and leave open

  • Confirmed: Blizzard's September 24 beta notes include Hunter updates, but no Beast Mastery talent entry. This confirms only what is in that dated note.
  • Planned: Those notes do not state a future Beast Mastery talent change. They do not establish whether a later change is planned.
  • Reported: The current calculator's build 1.60.1.70009 data supplies this page's Beast Mastery names, ranks, positions and tooltip text, and its comparison with Classic Era. Cajato's video supplies the earlier tree capture and the two talents it labels as no longer in the tree.
  • Unknown: Whether a later beta or release build changes the tree or any tooltip values, and whether Blizzard will publish a Beast Mastery-specific explanation.
