Pick a Target
Want a named reward? Compare Humar the Pridelord in The Barrens with Nightveiled Rotheap in Wetlands; both have named reward associations in the dated register. Use the checklist to narrow by zone and a printed level, then treat the item as a database lead rather than a guaranteed drop.
- Pick a zone you already plan to visit.
- Use a level only when one is listed.
- Read an empty reward cell as unrecorded.
- Keep turn-ins separate from creature drops.
Zone and Reward Checklist
60.tools Rare Spawns lists 35 names in a register updated October 8, 2026, for client build 1.60.1.70245. Rows below are database-listed records, not a verified or exhaustive census. “—” means 60.tools records no specific reward for that row; it does not mean the creature drops nothing. Wowhead rows are linked where used.

Wowhead’s sample counts are database samples, not drop rates. The 60.tools page also says its empty reward cells mean no specific reward is recorded. Treat listed levels as filters, not proof of level or faction eligibility. No creature here is shown to be faction-gated; the Rotheap turn-in is the one listed faction limit.
*Malignant Root is a turn-in result, not another creature drop: 60.tools says Rotheap Innards can be exchanged with Rethiel and describes that turn-in as Alliance-only.
Ghostfang’s Steps is a database lead, not a confirmed drop. Wowhead’s Forever item record lists it as dropped by Ghostfang. One Wowhead comment reports a kill with Steps; others report no item or gray loot. The 60.tools row names no reward.
For broader leveling-route planning between targets, compare RestedXP, Zygor, and Zygor vs RestedXP.
The model/name panel at 00:56 illustrates Mystmane, not a field encounter, location or drop.
Every row carries an evidence icon: Confirmed, Planned, Reported, Unverified or Not announced. Hover, focus or tap one for its source. Where sources disagree, both stay on the page. How we verify
