Understanding the 30+ Bracket

Blizzard's announcement opens Uldaman and raises the cap to 30 in the same update. Use that date-specific bracket to plan your beta progression. The notes do not define 30+ as a recommended party level or specify a hard entrance gate.Confirmed, a first-party sourceSource: Blizzard's October 1 beta notes, Changes and Updates, checked October 3, 2026.

Reaching the cap is a sensible planning point for a test run. It does not guarantee that every quest, encounter or reward is appropriate for your character. Compare the available alternatives in the dungeon overview and use the leveling guide for the approach to 30.

Where is Uldaman?

The current Forever client places Uldaman in Badlands, Eastern Kingdoms. This geographic record establishes the destination, separate from an in-game entrance walkthrough.Reported, press or datamine, not confirmedSource: Beta client Map row 70 and AreaTable rows 1517 and 3, build 1.60.1.70205, read October 3, 2026; Wowhead Forever zone lookup.

Use Badlands as the destination when arranging your group. Ask the group to confirm the entrance and meeting point in the beta before traveling. The checked client tables do not establish a usable entrance path, key requirement or shortcut. Old comments on the Forever database entry include legacy entrance advice without a current-build attribution; this guide does not turn those comments into a verified route.

Plan a Useful First Run

  • Agree on whether the run is for access testing, available quests or a full clear.
  • Check the quests your character can actually accept, including prerequisites and the reward in the quest log.
  • Confirm the entrance and group meeting point before committing travel time.
  • Keep the goal modest if the group is testing a newly opened beta instance; record what you encounter rather than assuming a Classic checklist applies.

For leveling plans around a run, start with RestedXP's Forever coverage, then Zygor Guides. The RestedXP and Zygor comparison explains the choice. Check current addon coverage before following a dungeon-specific route.

Dungeon Quest XP Changed in the Same Update

The October 1 notes cut extra dungeon quest experience beyond normal quest values by 50%. This is a change to the extra portion, not a statement that every dungeon quest now gives half its total XP. Use the displayed reward when comparing a dungeon quest with other questing.Confirmed, a first-party sourceSource: Blizzard beta notes, Quests, checked October 3, 2026.

Comparing Uldaman With Razorfen Downs

Razorfen Downs was opened alongside Uldaman with a 25+ label. Its reference separates that announcement from Wowhead's older recommended-level context. Use the two announced brackets to compare access, then verify your actual run conditions in the beta.

Uldaman FAQ

Is 30+ a verified minimum entry level?

The notes attach 30+ to the access announcement without explaining the gate. This reference preserves the bracket and does not claim an independently tested minimum.

Can I use an old Uldaman quest or loot table?

It can suggest things to look up, but it does not establish current Forever availability. The checked database's legacy comments do not support publishing a present-beta quest, boss or loot checklist here.
