The first two entries have the same quest name in the cited route. Use their objectives to tell the rescue from the cave follow-up: return Fillion to his bedroll first, then go back to the cave for the Matriarch’s head and hand it in at the lodge. The later mission and research steps bring you back through Elaadrin at the lodge and the standing stones.
Group the Return Visits
The published sequence lets you group the standing-stones trip: take Catching Wind from Elaadrin, make one trip to Overlook Standing Stones, and return to Elaadrin after the six readings. At that visit, accept Avenged Tenfold and collect the ten charms before returning again. The guide says Avenged Tenfold’s reward is not required before picking up In Service of Zephras, so you can accept that report on the same return if it is offered.
In Service of Zephras follows Catching Wind in Wisp; September 21 footage shows it offered after Avenged Tenfold was turned in. If Elaadrin does not offer it, leave that step pending rather than treating it as a required stop for every character. The listed Tower Defense handoff follows turning the report in to Valennia. If you cannot accept the conditional step, this evidence does not establish that Tower Defense is available through another route.
What the Footage Confirms
Blizzplanet’s September 21 videos support parts of this chain. Catching Wind’s opening shows The Missing Scholar completed in chat and Elaadrin offering Catching Wind. Its objective clip tracks Protect the Index among Windshaper Shamans. The In Service video shows Avenged Tenfold completed, Elaadrin offering In Service, and Valennia offering a report to Yorana Windyreed at the eastern watchtower. These clips do not show Fillion’s Mission, six readings, every return, or Tower Defense accepted.
Quest Names and IDs
The retrieved Wowhead records agree on quest names. For the cave follow-up, Wowhead’s text names Fillion while its turn-in list also includes Dondallion, both at the lodge; older footage shows a different Catching Wind objective. Wisp’s linked IDs sit inside prerequisite boxes, so read the link’s own title rather than treating it as the ID of the next step. The separate planner uses manual step keys instead of matching your quest log. This remains a guide-listed sequence, not a full client-verified run.
