WoW Forever Druid leveling guide (1-60)
A tooltip-based Feral path to Berserk, with race options and faction quest anchors.
Feral Combat is our solo leveling pick: follow the point order to Berserk, then finish the reported Feral tree; it uses tooltip data, not a speed test.
Quick answer
Reach Berserk at point 31, then spend all 51 points in Feral by level 60. The tooltip based order is not a speed ranking.
- Level-60 talent budgetThe standard point schedule awards one point per level from 10 through 60, for 51 total.
- Feral recommendationThis site's point order follows reported Feral ranks, tooltips, and prerequisites. It is not a timed leveling test.
- 31-point capstoneThe reported Feral tree places Berserk at 31 points and requires Leader of the Pack.
- Talent milestonesBlizzard confirms one-point milestone talents at 11, 21, and 31 points, plus a new 16-point milestone.

Feral talent order from level 1 to 60
Feral is this guide's solo recommendation because its reported tree combines lower form-ability costs, Cat Form movement speed, and a path to Berserk. Those tooltip reasons explain the point order; they do not establish a fastest build or an XP-per-hour result.
This route spends all 51 standard talent points in Feral. It assumes one point per level from 10 to 60 and no Legacy Talented perk. The character-level column follows that schedule; if Talented moves a point earlier, follow the point total and tree gate instead.
| Character level | Feral points | Suggested allocation |
|---|---|---|
| 1-9 | 0 | No talent points yet. Start in your race's area. |
| 10-14 | 1-5 | Ferocity 5/5. |
| 15-19 | 6-10 | Feral Swiftness 2/2, then Feral Instinct 3/3. |
| 20 | 11 | Feral Charge 1/1. |
| 21-24 | 12-15 | Savage Fury 2/2, then Sharpened Claws 2/2. |
| 25 | 16 | Primal Bite 1/1. |
| 26-29 | 17-20 | Predatory Strikes 3/3, then Blood Frenzy 1/2. |
| 30 | 21 | Leader of the Pack 1/1. |
| 31-33 | 22-24 | King of the Jungle 3/3. |
| 34-35 | 25-26 | Predatory Instincts 2/2. |
| 36-39 | 27-30 | Rend and Tear 4/5. |
| 40 | 31 | Berserk 1/1. |
| 41-45 | 32-36 | Heart of the Wild 5/5. |
| 46-48 | 37-39 | Thick Hide 3/3. |
| 49-50 | 40-41 | Brutal Impact 2/2. |
| 51-53 | 42-44 | Shredding Attacks 3/3. |
| 54 | 45 | Finish Blood Frenzy at 2/2. |
| 55-59 | 46-50 | Natural Reaction 5/5. |
| 60 | 51 | Finish Rend and Tear at 5/5. |
The reported tree's one-point milestones line up with Feral Charge at 11, Primal Bite at 16, Leader of the Pack at 21, and Berserk at 31. The client read lists Ferocity as reducing the cost of Maul, Primal Bite, Swipe, Claw, and Rake, while Feral Swiftness increases movement speed in Cat Form. That is the rationale for this route, not a measured leveling result. See the full Feral Combat talent reference for the reported tree, ranks, and tooltips.

Druid changes in Blizzard's beta notes
Blizzard's September 24 notes confirm the changes below for that beta build. They are class updates, not a promise that beta values are final. The Druid guide and class changes guide track the broader record.
| Change | Confirmed beta note | What it means for this guide |
|---|---|---|
| Mangle becomes Primal Bite | The Mangle name and its signature debuff were removed; talents that referenced Mangle now reference Primal Bite. | The reported talent tree and point table use Primal Bite. |
| Wrath damage | Base damage increased by about 50%. | This changes the spell, but it does not change the Feral point order. |
| Feral Charge | Cat Form's Feral Charge no longer targets allies. | Feral Charge remains the route's 11-point pick. |
| Other Druid spells | Thorns updates with caster spell power; Rejuvenation, Tranquility, and Wild Growth can critically hit. | These confirmed updates matter if you move between Druid roles; they are not talent-order tests. |
The client tree is a reported read, while the dated changes above are Blizzard-confirmed beta notes. Keep those evidence tiers separate when comparing a tooltip with the patch notes.
Druid races and leveling utility
Blizzard's race and class tables list Night Elf and High Order Skyborne Druids for the Alliance, plus Tauren and Windshaper Skyborne Druids for the Horde. Skyborne race access requires the Heroic Pack or higher; the Druid class page tracks that entitlement.
| Race | Published racial utility |
|---|---|
| Night Elf | Wisp Spirit increases movement speed while dead. |
| Tauren | Cultivation can gather bonus herbs without Herbalism. |
| High Order Skyborne | Read Ley Line increases Health and Mana regeneration by 100%. |
| Windshaper Skyborne | Skysight increases run speed by 10%. |
Those are different utility options, not evidence that one race levels fastest. Check the full racial ability guide before choosing; this article does not rank Druid race performance.
Where to quest from 1 to 60
These route anchors use the Classic Era zone brackets as a planning baseline. They are not a Druid-only itinerary or a claim that every zone has unchanged Forever quest content. The leveling zones guide keeps original brackets separate from Forever additions and gives the source status for each one.
| Level band | Alliance anchors | Horde anchors |
|---|---|---|
| 1-12 | Your race's starting area; High Order Skyborne start on Zephras Isle. | Your race's starting area; Windshaper Skyborne start on Zephras Isle. |
| 10-20 | Westfall, Loch Modan, Darkshore, or Redridge Mountains. | Silverpine Forest, The Barrens, or Stonetalon Mountains. |
| 20-30 | Duskwood, Ashenvale, Wetlands, or Hillsbrad Foothills. | Ashenvale, Hillsbrad Foothills, or Thousand Needles. |
| 30-40 | Arathi Highlands, Desolace, Stranglethorn Vale, or Dustwallow Marsh. | Arathi Highlands, Desolace, Stranglethorn Vale, or Dustwallow Marsh. |
| 40-50 | Tanaris, Feralas, or The Hinterlands. | Tanaris, Feralas, or The Hinterlands. |
| 50-60 | Felwood, Un'Goro Crater, the Plaguelands, Winterspring, or Silithus. | Felwood, Un'Goro Crater, the Plaguelands, Winterspring, or Silithus. |
Skyborne's confirmed Zephras Isle start covers levels 1 to 12. The cited sources do not give a Druid-specific quest route, and Blizzard has not published a post-island Skyborne itinerary. For a separate quest-by-quest route, compare RestedXP's WoW Forever routes, Zygor's WoW Forever guides, and the RestedXP versus Zygor comparison. Riverglades is a planned mid-30s to mid-40s option, not a required Druid stop; its sources and status are on the route map.
Druid trainer spells by level
The sources cited here cover talent ranks and beta changes, not a verified Druid trainer schedule. This guide therefore does not assign forms, spell ranks, or trainer abilities to character levels. Check the in-game spellbook and class trainer; use the table above for talent points.
WoW Forever Druid leveling FAQ
Is Feral the fastest Druid leveling spec?
This guide recommends Feral from its reported point tooltips and prerequisites. It does not include a timed test or an XP-per-hour comparison, so it cannot call Feral the fastest.
When should I take Berserk?
Spend 30 points in Feral first, then take Berserk with point 31. On the standard schedule that is character level 40; Talented can move the point earlier.
Which races can be Druids in WoW Forever?
Alliance Druids can be Night Elf or High Order Skyborne. Horde Druids can be Tauren or Windshaper Skyborne. Skyborne access requires the Heroic Pack or higher.
Does Legacy Talented change the point order?
The recommendation stays in the same order, but Blizzard says Talented can unlock points up to five levels earlier than normal. Follow your point total and tree gates instead of the character-level column.
Where should I quest as a Druid?
Use the faction anchors in the table, then check the full leveling route map for exact zone ranges, dungeons, travel links, and Forever additions.
