What talent path should you use from 10 to 60?

We recommend Beast Mastery for a pet-focused leveling plan. Its reported tree has talents for pet health, damage, movement, and recovery; this is a tooltip-based route, not a measured damage or XP ranking. Want a guided quest path beside the talent plan? The level ranges below apply the Classic Era talent schedule, one point per level from 10 to 60, to the reported 51-point total. They assume you do not have the Legacy Talented perk. Spend by point total if that perk moves a talent unlock earlier for you.

The first 30 points open each of the first six Beast Mastery rows in turn. Bestial Swiftness comes before Intimidation because the client read lists it as Intimidation's prerequisite, and Intimidation is the prerequisite for Bestial Wrath. Spend point 31 on Bestial Wrath, its one-rank capstone.

Which Forever beta changes affect a leveling Hunter?

Blizzard's September 24 notes confirm these Hunter changes for that beta build. Treat them as dated beta notes, not as a promise that the values cannot change.

Three of these rows come from the Hunter section of Blizzard's September 24 beta development notes; the Pet Happiness fix is listed under Bugfixes. The Hunter section also says Bat pets now get Sonic Blast, that removing Lone Wolf no longer leaves a damage penalty, and that Lacerating Strikes can now land critical hits.

None of these changes alters the Beast Mastery point plan above.

Which Hunter races have useful leveling racials?

Blizzard's race tables list Human, Dwarf, Night Elf, and Skyborne for Alliance; Orc, Tauren, Troll, and Skyborne for Horde. Its Skyborne article names those variants High Order Skyborne (Alliance) and Windshaper Skyborne (Horde), and both can be Hunters. Human Hunter is new. Troll Beast Slaying increases damage to Beasts by 5%, so it applies only when your target is a Beast. Tauren Endurance gives 5% more total health and 1% hit chance. Those are two sourced leveling-relevant effects, not a ranking of every race. Read the Troll racial details and Tauren racial details before choosing.

Where should you quest as a Hunter from 1 to 60?

Use the Alliance or Horde bracket in the leveling zones guide. It labels the regular zone ranges as a Classic Era baseline and separates Forever additions, so you can pick a nearby quest zone without treating every older bracket as a Forever-specific promise.

If you choose Skyborne, Blizzard gives Zephras Isle a level 1-12 starting experience; after that, use the faction brackets as a planning route.

Does the Legacy Talented perk change the levels?

Blizzard says the Legacy Talented perk can unlock talent points up to five levels earlier than normal. This table uses the standard level-to-point schedule; with the perk, follow the point totals in the second column rather than the character levels. Blizzard's Legacy System article describes the perk in its Adventure section.
