What the tree comparison shows

  • WoW Forever Talents reads Forever client build 1.60.1.70009 and compares it with Classic Era 1.15.9.69722. The data-driven tree above supplies the talent names, positions, ranks, and paired Forever and Classic text.
  • Its six-new, six-changed, five-matching labels describe this community read, not a final Blizzard balance statement.
  • Cajato's September 14 video shows the Marksmanship demo tree at 7:16. The frame labels Lone Wolf new and shows its +20% all-attack damage effect without an active pet requirement.
  • It also places Improved Hunter's Mark and Improved Scorpid Sting under “No longer a talent.” At 9:00, the Sniper Shot panel shows a four-second cast and 15-second cooldown. Cajato says Aimed Shot was a Classic talent and is also in the demo spellbook. These are creator reports from an earlier beta demonstration.

What the sources confirm, report, and leave open

  • Confirmed: Blizzard's September 24 beta notes say talenting out of Lone Wolf will no longer leave the Hunter with -4% damage while a pet is active. This confirms that bug fix only.
  • Reported: The current community client read supplies the tree, ranks, positions, current tooltip values, and Classic Era comparison. The talent list above renders those source values, including the reported reworked text beside the Classic client text.
  • Planned: The cited September 24 notes state no future Marksmanship talent change. They do not say whether a later change is planned.

What is still unknown

  • Whether build 1.60.1.70009's tree layout, tooltip values, and behavior will remain in a later beta or release build.
  • Whether Blizzard will publish an official Marksmanship talent table or explain the other client-read differences.
  • Whether any future Marksmanship tree changes are planned beyond the scope of the September 24 post.
