The retained Wowhead guide reports two faction openings.Source: Wowhead, Cozy Sleeping Bag guide, updated September 21, 2026; captured October 8. Reported. It places the Westfall step at Alexston Farmstead and the Barrens step south of Camp Taurajo. Treat these as reported landmarks; the source and footage do not establish one complete faction-specific route.
The dated video shows a Burned-Out Remains quest acceptance at Field of Giants, then a completion window for “... and that note you found” at the Nailed Plank in Alexston Farmstead. That footage distinguishes an observed Barrens acceptance followed by a Westfall completion from a claimed Alliance start object. It does not prove that the Nailed Plank is the Alliance opener. The Wowhead guide labels its Westfall object Burned-Out Remains, which conflicts with the frame. Wowhead’s Forever guide · Jurpi’s Sept. 27 video
Cross-Continent Handoff and Quest Landmarks
Complete the opposite-continent handoff before Stonetalon. Travel between these quest legs was not tested. Wowhead’s reported Westfall sequence continues to a Barrens turn-in for “... and that note you found,” then accepts Stepping Stones. The footage matches Wowhead’s Barrens-first sequence: Barrens quest acceptance, then a Westfall Nailed Plank completion. The opposite-continent step is present in the sources, but the faction-specific travel order remains reported rather than tested.
The guide’s Westfall object label also conflicts with the footage, so confirm the active quest panel instead of relying on that object name.
| Landmark | Reported handoff |
|---|---|
| Stonetalon campsite | Pocket Litter completes Stepping Stones and starts Scramble. (Reported; corroborating footage build unverified) |
| Same camp, optional | The guide reports a separate Rekindle quest at the campfire. (Reported; corroborating footage build unverified) |
| Hill above camp | Mound of Dirt completes Scramble and starts Wet Job. (Reported; corroborating footage build unverified) |
| Stonewrought Dam, Loch Modan | The guide calls the pickup Eagle Figurine; the frame labels it Carved Figurine. Complete Wet Job and start Eagle’s Fist. (Reported; corroborating footage build unverified) |
| Inside Thoradin’s Wall | Messenger Bag completes Eagle’s Fist and starts This Must Be The Place. (Reported; corroborating footage build unverified) |
| Satchel below the bag | Hastily Rolled-Up Satchel offers Cozy Sleeping Bag and five Student Fodder. (Observed rewards; build unverified) |
Wowhead says the Loch Modan handoff can be difficult for Horde characters. This guide stays at landmark level: it does not claim an exact surveyed coordinate or a safe route. The item tooltip shown later also gives no numeric experience percentage or effect duration.

Shown at level 19 in Jurpi’s September 27 footage (build unverified): 8 silver and 1,950 quest XP.
The Bag in Your Inventory
At 08:02, the video shows the Cozy Sleeping Bag in the character’s bags while Unroll Bag is being cast. The tooltip describes an experience bonus after resting inside for at least one minute, stacking up to three times. The tooltip gives no percentage or duration, so this page does not supply a formula or duration winner.
