Choose a Response
Use an interrupt against a cast, a Fear response against Fear, and the listed removal type for a dispel. These are October 8 Wowhead Forever records, not measurements of live-match performance. Check the rank and level before choosing a spell for your character.
An Opponent Is Casting
These records describe school interruption; the dispel entries later describe effect removal. Earth Shock rank 4 and Power Word: Shield rank 5 are identified by the dated 70205 client extract; current tooltips omit the rank.

Fear and Movement Responses
Swipe sideways to see all columns.
| Situation | Class ability | October 8 Forever record |
|---|---|---|
| Prepare for a Fear | Priest — Fear Ward | Listed at level 20; 30 yd; the record says it prevents the next Fear; 3 min duration/cooldown. Record, retrieved October 8, 2026. |
| Respond to listed control effects | Shaman — Tremor Totem | Listed at level 18; 30 yd party radius; record says it removes Fear, Charm and Sleep; 5 min duration. No pulse interval is listed. Record, retrieved October 8, 2026. |
| Respond to movement impairment | Paladin — Blessing of Freedom | Listed at level 18; 30 yd; 10 sec immunity to movement-impairing effects; 20 sec cooldown. The record does not enumerate every effect. Record, retrieved October 8, 2026. |
The wording distinguishes preventing a Fear from removing effects listed for Tremor Totem. No pulse interval is given, so removal timing cannot be inferred. Blessing of Freedom does not name every movement effect; check the specific one.
Berserker Rage Has Conflicting Level Records
Blizzard's October 2 Warrior update says Berserker Rage is “now available at level 30 (Was 32).” The October 3 client extract agrees: trainer level 30, spell level 32. The Forever record retrieved October 8 still shows level 32. It lists a 30 sec cooldown, 10 sec duration, Berserker Stance, and immunity to Fear and Incapacitate effects. The announced training level and the spell record’s level remain distinct. Blizzard's Warrior update, October 2, 2026; Forever Berserker Rage record, retrieved October 8, 2026. Client extract, dated October 3.
Read the Removal Description
The records distinguish the kind of effect and target. Priest — Dispel Magic is listed at level 18 and removes one harmful effect from a friend or one beneficial effect from an enemy. Shaman — Purge is listed at level 12 and removes one Magic effect from an enemy. Dispel Magic record and Purge record, both retrieved October 8, 2026.
Power Word: Shield rank 5 is listed at level 30, and its record identifies the aura as Magic. On these records alone, that makes it a candidate for the described removal rules; it does not prove a current-build interaction. Power Word: Shield record, retrieved October 8, 2026.
