Reward Tiers
| Tier | Reward and evidence |
|---|---|
| 10 books | Necklace choiceReported, player’s post describing its screenshot. Player report. |
| 20 books | Ring choiceReported, same player’s description. Method also reports a level-20 gate. |
| 25 books; Method reports a level-30 quest gate | Truthseeker’s Bow, Crest of Elucidation, or Researcher’s Night Light choice (Reported by Method; reward delivery not shown). A separate player thread describes hand-ins through book 23. |
The first two reward choices have firsthand player-report support. Treat the 25-book tier as a current guide report: the evidence checked for this page does not show a successful delivery of that reward. Method's level 30 is a reported quest gate. Blizzard's October 8 notes say the Bow's equip requirement is level 40; that item requirement does not establish quest access or confirm a successful hand-in.Blizzard: WoW Forever Beta Development Notes, October 8 update, checked Oct 18, 2026.
How the Loop Works
WoW Forever Codex describes Library Books as objects collected in the world and says the librarian’s hand-in quest appears while you are carrying one.Source: WoW Forever Codex, Library Books, captured October 8, 2026. Reported. When you find a book, interact with it and keep at least one in your bags before visiting your faction’s librarian. This is a guide-reported loop; the sources below do not establish a complete pickup route.
Where to Turn Books In
These are guide-reported NPC locations. The cited guides differ slightly on some coordinates, so this guide names the areas without giving exact coordinates.
| Faction | Turn-in NPC and reported area |
|---|---|
| Alliance | Garion Wendell, Stormwind Mage Tower (Wowhead, Method, WoW Forever Codex) |
| Horde | Owen Thadd, Undercity Magic Quarter (Wowhead, Method, WoW Forever Codex) |
Details That Remain Unsettled
Third quest name: Wowhead labels both the 20-book and 25-book quests “Greater Friend of the Library.” Codex uses that name for the 20-book tier but says the 25-book quest name has not been seen. This guide leaves the quest unnamed (Wowhead, WoW Forever Codex). How many books are listed: The Codex index reports 31 books in the game files; Warcraft Tavern says its linked guide covers 40 book locations.
Those are different source measures, and the captured pages do not reconcile them into a complete collectible count or route (Codex, Warcraft Tavern).
Illustration only: a Sept. 30 clip by creator 桌游极客 shows the Felstone Field barn area; this crop does not show a book pickup or reward turn-in. The clip’s client build is unverified (Bilibili clip).
