What changed in Forever

The comparison has 121 Classic rows and 188 live Forever rows: 77 new, 33 changed, 78 same. The beta client files (build 1.60.1.70009) show 9 Classic rows retired; Elixir of Tongues has no Forever row (reported). Source: Forever Alchemy spell list

The six retired recipes are Minor, Lesser, plain, Greater, Superior and Major Healing Potion; in the beta data their Alchemy rows have lost their spell names, and First Aid has new recipes that make the same potions. Wowhead lists the First Aid Lesser Healing Potion at skill 85, using Empty Vial, 2 Mild Spices, and Briarthorn (reported).

Trainers and ranks

Wowhead's Forever rank data records training skill and costs. Rank descriptions top out at 75/150/225/300, supporting a 300 rank ceiling; four Natural flasks list learn-at 320, unresolved. All values are reported. Source: Alchemy ranks

The Forever trainer list reports Zephras Isle names and city trainers. It lists Iaadaria Bitterwind for Alliance, and Nyassa Swiftdraught and Valiena Swiftgale for both factions. City examples include:

Leveling Alchemy 1-300

This route uses only recipes that trainers teach or that come with the profession, from beta client thresholds and Wowhead's learn skills. Materials are per range; counts are minimums because yellow crafts can miss skill-ups. Source: Forever Alchemy spell list

Minimum route materials

Totals assume one point per craft. Yellow crafts can miss, so actual needs may rise. The route makes 5 Blackmouth Oil at 80-85; reusing those against 40 needed later leaves 35 more to source. The 285-290 row is green, so its skill-ups are not guaranteed.

Warcraft Tavern reports 29 new Alchemy recipes: thrown damage or debuff potions, damage-over-time potions, 30-second stat potions, and 30-minute regeneration, healing, spell-damage, and stat elixirs (reported). Source: Warcraft Tavern: New Alchemy Recipes

The four recipes are Flask of Natural Accuracy, Flask of Natural Aggression, Flask of Natural Precision, and Flask of Natural Swiftness. Each uses Death Lotus plus Demonsage for the first two or Marefoil for the last two. Source: Forever Alchemy spells

Camp objects

The beta client files report three Alchemy objects that require a nearby Campfire and share a 1-hour cooldown (reported). At level 60, the Mana Well restores 29 mana per 5 seconds and is exclusive with Blessing of Wisdom; both upgrades carry its benefits. Source: Camping overview

The Fermenter and Alchemy Laboratory blueprints require skills 140 and 300. The client data names no source or boss; Blizzard says advanced Blueprint recipes drop from specific dungeon bosses (planned). Source: Deep Dive recap

Recipe vendors and reagents

Wowhead reports the Azeroth Commerce Authority is Alliance-only and Durotar Supply & Logistics is its Horde equivalent. The Alchemy seller listed is Nina Surefire at the Three Corners camp; the captured guide does not name a Horde Alchemy seller. Recipe costs are Merchant's Favor. Source: Commerce Authority guide

Alchemy Certification grants the title "the Alchemist." New recipe reagents include Death Lotus, Demonsage, Marefoil, Frilled Lichen, Pyrite, Rosecap, and Stranglevine. Transmute: Legionite uses Heavy Thorium Bar and Fel Crystal. Client recipe-use data shows the dyes feed Tailoring, Leatherworking, Engineering, and Enchanting; Sulfuric Acid is used by Blacksmithing, Enchanting, Engineering, and Leatherworking (reported). Alchemy writs in the beta client include Elixir of Wisdom, Lesser Mana Potion, Draught of Water Breathing, Catseye Draught, and Flask of Chromatic Resistance.

Pairing and gold

Pair Alchemy with Herbalism. Its reported rank description requires herbs found with the Herbalism skill, and the route uses herbs in many crafts. Beta recipe data links the new dyes to Tailoring, Leatherworking, Engineering, and Enchanting; Sulfuric Acid links to Blacksmithing, Enchanting, Engineering, and Leatherworking (reported).
