What the current Frost tree shows

  • The tree and its tooltips are a Reported read of WoW Forever client build 1.60.1.70009. Its Classic comparison uses Era build 1.15.9.69722. The local dataset counts 19 talents: two new, ten reworked and seven unchanged.
  • The two new entries are Ice Lance, a one-rank talent at 10 points, and Fingers of Frost, a two-rank talent at 20 points, according to the Mage client read.
  • The client comparison shows changes by rank. Elemental Precision grows from three to five ranks and changes from reducing resistance to increasing hit chance. Shatter has three ranks in Forever and five in Classic Era; its third Forever rank says 50% against Frozen targets, versus 30% at Classic rank three.
  • WoW Forever Talents reports Frost as two new, eleven changed and six the same. This page counts Frostbite as unchanged because the tooltip difference is capitalization only. The page's rule ignores case and whitespace; punctuation differences such as Ice Block still count as changes.
  • Winter's Chill now names Ice Lance and Frostbolt as the spells whose critical chance rises; the Classic text refers to Frost spells more broadly (client comparison).

What remains unconfirmed

  • No final Frost talent values or later tree revision are established by these sources. The September 24 notes do not say whether a later beta build will change Frost, and this source set contains no announced Frost-specific plan.
  • The page shows the current reported build and its Classic Era comparison, not a confirmed launch tree.
