Find recruitment posts on Blizzard's Forever community board, then check ruleset and faction for grouping plans. Use the official community board as your starting point and ask prospective guildmates about the activities and schedule you want.

TL;DR

Use Community Connections to find guild posts. Match ruleset and faction for grouping; those checks do not establish guild membership rules.

To find a guild, start with Blizzard's WoW: Forever Community Connections forum category, where players post about communities, connect with friends, and look for guildmates. If you want to group with prospective guildmates, check that their post matches your ruleset and faction: Blizzard says cross-ruleset grouping is unsupported and Horde and Alliance cannot group. Those are grouping boundaries, not published guild-admission or membership rules.

Find a Group That Fits

Read the recruiting post for the activities you care about, then contact its author through the forum. The board is a player-run place hosted on Blizzard's forums, not a vetted directory or an endorsement of a guild. Posts are written by community members, so confirm important details directly with the people recruiting.

Before joining for a particular group activity, check:

  • Same ruleset for grouping plans.
  • Same faction for grouping plans.
  • Whether the posted schedule fits you.
  • Which activities the roster currently runs.
  • How leaders handle attendance and communication.

The first two checks follow Blizzard's stated grouping limits. The remaining questions help you evaluate a roster; they are questions to ask, not claims that every guild offers a specific schedule, raid, or policy. If the post does not say, ask the recruiter rather than inferring from a guild name or another player's post.

Read the recruitment pitch together with its replies. A label such as casual, leveling, or raiding is not by itself a schedule or commitment: ask what regular play looks like and how the group handles missed events. Compare the answer with your available time and the activities you want. If details stay vague, talk with the recruiter before making a commitment. This is a practical way to assess a post, not a Blizzard membership rule.

Grouping Limits Do Not Define Guild Membership

Blizzard's Forever ruleset article says grouping, dungeons, and raids require players on the same ruleset; it also says Horde and Alliance cannot group. The source does not state whether those limits govern inviting someone to a guild or remaining in one. Treat ruleset and faction as checks for the group content you want to do, not proof of a broader guild-membership restriction.

Guild Creation and Invites: Dated Records Only

The available records do not establish a current charter price, normal signature count, creation procedure, or reliable Forever invite command. An October 3 extraction of beta build 1.60.1.70205 contains registrar text requiring a purchased charter and nine unique player signatures. That is a client string, not proof of today's server requirement.

A September 17 Known Issues post separately reported charter-signing trouble and a temporary workaround that let players submit without signatures while the issue remained in progress. Do not turn that dated workaround into ordinary creation instructions. On October 6, Blizzard said it addressed an error that could occur when joining or leaving a guild; that update does not certify every guild flow. No ordinary creation steps are needed to use the recruitment board above.
