Find the Entrance
In Orgrimmar, head into the Cleft of Shadow and look for the instance portal. Ragefire Chasm, usually shortened to RFC, sits under the Horde capital. That makes it a convenient dungeon to consider while your Horde character is already visiting Orgrimmar.Reported, press or datamine, not confirmedSource: Wowhead's Forever RFC guide, Location and Overview; checked October 3, 2026.
Prepare your RFC quests before meeting the group: several start in other cities, and Hidden Enemies has work to finish outside the dungeon.

Prepare Quests
Wowhead's Forever guide lists these Horde quest starts. Use this list to decide which city stops fit your route; you do not need to travel to every city just to join a run.Reported, press or datamine, not confirmedSource: Wowhead's Forever RFC guide, Every Quest; updated September 30, checked October 3, 2026.
- Hidden Enemies: Thrall, Orgrimmar. Progress through the outside-dungeon steps until your objective sends you into RFC.
- Slaying the Beast: Neeru Fireblade, Orgrimmar. Pick up the dungeon quest during your city visit.
- Testing an Enemy's Strength: Rahauro, Elder Rise, Thunder Bluff. Collect it if Thunder Bluff is already part of your leveling route.
- Searching for the Lost Satchel: Rahauro, Elder Rise, Thunder Bluff. This begins a two-part quest with a dungeon visit and a return to Rahauro.
- The Power to Destroy...: Varimathras, Royal Quarter, Undercity. Plan the Undercity stop before traveling to Orgrimmar.
Hidden Enemies Connects the Story to the Run
The five-part chain starts and ends with Thrall. Its early work sends you to Skull Rock for a Lieutenant's Insignia, then to speak with Neeru Fireblade, before a later step sends you into RFC. Check the objective in your log before leaving Thrall; starting the chain does not put you on its dungeon step immediately.Reported, press or datamine, not confirmedSource: Wowhead's Forever RFC guide, Hidden Enemies; checked October 3, 2026.
Why go into Ragefire Chasm?
The story centers on a Burning Blade cult in the volcanic caverns beneath Orgrimmar. The cult's connection to the Shadow Council is what draws Thrall's attention and gives Hidden Enemies its purpose. For a character leveling through Horde territory, RFC brings that investigation into a dungeon close to the capital.Reported, press or datamine, not confirmedSource: Wowhead's Forever RFC guide, Overview; checked October 3, 2026.
Fit the Run Into Your Leveling Route
Use the recommended 13–18 range as planning guidance, then compare the quest travel with the rest of your route. A run with the quests you already have is a different time commitment from a tour of all three Horde capitals.
Blizzard reduced the extra experience above normal quest values from dungeon quests by 50% in the October 1 update. That change does not mean all dungeon quest XP was halved; check your current quest rewards when deciding whether to make a detour.Source: Blizzard's October 1 beta notes, Quests; checked October 3, 2026.
