Finding Kraul in the Southern Barrens
Look west before the Great Lift. Horde players can approach from Camp Taurajo; Wowhead's Alliance travel lead uses the Booty Bay boat to Ratchet, then a southbound trip through the Barrens.Reported, press or datamine, not confirmedSource: Wowhead Forever: Location of Razorfen Kraul, checked October 3, 2026.
Use the full name Razorfen Kraul when arranging the meeting. Kraul and Razorfen Downs are separate dungeons; the October 1 notes list them in different availability groups.
Quest Preparation
These names appear in the Forever quest database. Pickup locations below are reported guide leads; verify the offer and prerequisites on your beta character. Old reference levels and rewards are not a reliable beta eligibility or payout table.
| Player | Quest | Reported lead |
|---|---|---|
| Both | Blueleaf Tubers | Mebok Mizzyrix in Ratchet; check the supplied quest items |
| Both | Willix the Importer | Willix inside Kraul; escort quest |
| Alliance | The Crone of the Kraul | Falfindel Waywarder in Feralas; follows Lonebrow's Journal |
| Alliance | Mortality Wanes | Heralath Fallowbrook inside Kraul |
| Horde | A Vengeful Fate | Auld Stonespire in Thunder Bluff |
| Horde | Going, Going, Guano! | Master Apothecary Faranell in Undercity |
The Kraul Forever database supplies the names and factions; Wowhead's quest reference supplies these pickup leads. Check the town quests before traveling, then tell the group if you are looking for an inside quest or escort.
Why the Kraul Is a Thorn Maze
The quilboar settlement occupies enormous thorns associated with the demigod Agamaggan's death.Reported, press or datamine, not confirmedSource: Wowhead Forever: Introduction, checked October 3, 2026.
Planning XP Around the Run
The current beta cap makes a 30–40 reference range unsuitable as a leveling schedule. Ask your group what it intends to complete and check your available quests before committing travel time.
Blizzard reduced the extra dungeon quest XP bonus by 50% on October 1; that change is not a claim that all quest XP was halved.Confirmed, a first-party sourceSource: Blizzard: October 1 beta notes, Quests; checked October 3, 2026. See the dungeon XP guide for the distinction.

Razorfen Kraul FAQ
Is Razorfen Kraul the same as Razorfen Downs?
No. Blizzard's October 1 notes list Kraul among existing beta dungeons and Downs among the additions in that update.
Is level 30 a confirmed Kraul entry requirement?
No. The 30–40 range here is Wowhead's recommendation, not a verified beta gate. The current beta cap is 30.
