The Forever Open: Dates, Prizes and Where to Watch

Registration Is Closed

The official registration-page capture retrieved 2026-10-18 at 00:20:27 UTC lists the October 2, 2026, 17:00 UTC close. Its notice attributed the early close to an overwhelmingly large response.

Older registration prompts remained on the event hub, so this dated record uses the registration page for the deadline; it does not establish whether anyone competed or how the event ended.Source: Raider.IO registration and event hub, captured 2026-10-18 at 00:20:27 UTC and 00:20:23 UTC.

Why $50,000 Became $100,000

The official prizes page says Timthetatman added $50,000 to the original $50,000 pool. The updated announced total is $100,000. It lists $50,000 for the champion and $5,555 for the highest placing player of each of nine classes; tied class awards are split. Those published amounts total $99,995.

Preparation for Registered Players

At registration, the format page required eligible Horde characters on the Forever beta PvP ruleset, created on or after September 27 at 18:00 UTC with the surname Foreverpvp. An already registered player had to select one tournament character, reach level 30 before check-in and pay the published 15-gold participation fee.

Check-in on Raider.IO was scheduled for October 17 from 14:00 to 15:00 UTC; the selected character could not change, and late registration was excluded. These are historical event requirements, not current instructions.Source: Raider.IO event format, retrieved 2026-10-18 at 00:20:33 UTC, and Raider.IO Format & Rules, retrieved at 00:20:41 UTC.

The October 18 rules snapshot permits Legacy points, requires competitors to stream the Qualifier with preserved VODs, and lists bag and talent inspections, banned consumables and class-specific opener rules.

It specifies that the Qualifier talent build is submitted through check-in (§6.4), while each Finals competitor must submit a Finals build by 1:00 AM CT on October 18 (§18.3); the Finals build may differ from the Qualifier build.

The later FINALS Format & Rules page says no Finals talent build submission is required (§6.5) and no locked Finals build applies (§8.3). These are organizer-published event rules, not evidence of individual compliance.Source: Raider.IO Format & Rules, §§6.4, 8.3 to 8.4, 10.A, 11, 18.3, and 20.5, retrieved 2026-10-18 at 00:20:41 UTC.

Use our class guides to review your character, leveling guide to organize remaining levels and talent calculator to inspect a build. These resources do not establish tournament legality or guarantee a winning class.

The rulebook describes the top four placing players of each class advancing from qualifiers to the Finals. The October 18 rules capture specifies a double-elimination bracket: Upper Bracket matches are best-of-three (Bo3), Lower Bracket matches are best-of-one (Bo1), and the Championship Match is best-of-five (Bo5) (§22.1). The later FINALS Format & Rules page makes the Lower FINALS best-of-three (Bo3) (§10.1).

The event-format capture still listed the Finals start time as TBD. These dated snapshots do not establish who competed, actual results, or a completed bracket.Source: Raider.IO Format & Rules, §§18.1 and 22.1, retrieved 2026-10-18 at 00:20:41 UTC, and event format, retrieved at 00:20:33 UTC.
